Personal Information



I have been at York College as assistant professor in the department of Math and Computer Studies since the Fall semester of 2004.

I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey in October 2004. I did my thesis work under the supervision of Eric Allender. It focussed on questions in compexity theory that address connections between Kolmogorov complexity and derandomization. In the Fall of 1998 I received my Masters Degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Berlin, Germany.

On a personal note, I haven been married since March 1999 to my wife Lisa. My daughter Julia was born in February 2000 and my twin boys Sebastian and Alexander in November 2004. I currently reside in Freehold, NJ.
