Welcome to my virtual home. I have been at York College as assitant professor in the department of Math and Computer Studies since the Fall semester of 2004. In October 2004 I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Rutgers University. My thesis work was in the area of theoretical computerscience focussing on questions in compexity theory that address connections between Kolmogorov complexity and derandomization.
While I am still interested in complexity theory, and theoretical computer science as whole, more recently my research has branched out to more applied topics. More specifically I am investigating how e-mail spam could be reduced with a reputation scheme for e-mail senders, implemented as a peer-to-peer network.
Currently I am also the program coordinator for the Information System Management (ISM) and Computer Science programs at York College.
