Submission Guidelines:
Submission Form for The York Scholar (as PDF)
I hope you will seriously consider submitting your Writing 301, Writing 302, or Writing 303 paper for possible publication in The York Scholar. Simply fill out the submission form, together with all required components for submission, to be considered for the next issue.
Research papers may be submitted to The York Scholar up to four months after final submission of the paper for the course; however, it is best to submit your paper directly to the College-Wide Writing Program at the conclusion of the semester in which you take the course.
To submit your paper to The York Scholar , fill out the formal Submission Form (PDF) and attach:
- three clean hard copies of your paper
- a disk or CD with an electronic copy of your paper
Be sure to keep a copy of the submission form and both a print and electronic copy of your paper.
The College-Wide Writing Program (AC-1C01) is open Monday-Thursday, 10AM-3:30PM when classes are in session, with limited hours during the summer session. You may also submit electronic copy of your paper to writing@york.cuny.edu, though you will still need to submit all required elements to the Writing Program office.
