Prospective Station Members

What Are we Looking For?

  1. On-Air announcers for a variety of music, sports, news, and other talk radio programs
  2. Staff Members for:
    1. Programming Department
    2. Promotions/Publicity Department
    3. Music Department
    4. News Department
    5. Sports Department
    6. Underwriting Department

What Is Expected Of You?

  • Attend weekly staff meetings (usually held Tuesdays around noon)
  • Attending workshops for training in all aspects of radio production
  • Be on time.  Punctuality is extremely important, especially within a radio station, as there will be a set schedule that will be upheld and maintained once the station is back up and running.
  • Always remember that you are a representative of not only YCRadio, but York College itself.  Be professional and responsible.
  • Have a team attitude, be respectful of others, and be ready to learn; but most importantly, have fun!
