Dr. Holger Henke, Assistant Provost at York College, CUNY, recently assumed the Presidency of the Caribbean Studies Association (CSA), the largest professional organization of scholars and activists working on issues pertaining to the Caribbean region.

Dr. Dana Fusco, Dean of the School of Health & Behavioral Sciences, recently announced to the York College community that the Medical Laboratory Scientist program at the College has been awarded initial accreditation by the National Review Board.
The saying that it’s nice to know people but nicer to have people know you, was proven at York recently when an alumnus of the College came home to recruit outstanding students for his institution’s PhD program in microbiology.
