What Happens at NSO?
Check-in for students and guests begins at 8 a.m. During the NSO, you will be formally welcomed to the University, you will meet with other new students, and participate in team-oriented activities. In addition, you will receive important information about our academic programs and the many services that available to you as a student.back to top
How Should I Prepare for NSO?
To prepare for NSO, wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Ladies, please avoid wearing shoes with a heel! We will provide you with an information folder packet and a pen. You are encouraged to browse the York College/CUNY website and the New Student Orientation pages to familiarize yourself with the college and prepare any questions you may have to be answered at the orientation.back to top
Where is Orientation?
New Student Orientation will begin in the Health & Physical Education Building, located on Liberty Ave. Students will then proceed to the Academic Core Building to conclude the activities of the day.back to top
Can I Bring a Guest to NSO?
Due to space limitations, only parents and/or guardians are permitted. A program of the day's events will be provided at check -in.back to top
Do I Have to Pay an Orientation Fee?
