Occupational Therapy Process II: Psychosocial Intervention
OT509 (Not Liberal Arts) Occupational Therapy Process II: Psychosocial Intervention 5 hrs. 4 crs. This course is designed for graduate students to build upon the content gained in previous coursework by placing more focus on the curative nature of groups for occupational therapy intervention. The use of groups to promote the achievement of individual/group outcomes in the various occupational performance areas is the primary goal, and students will be encouraged to seek evidence supporting best practice. The laboratory component will include, but not be limited to application of concepts and practice of treatment techniques. Preq: Department Permission 3hrs lect, 2 hrs lab.
