HE452 (Liberal Arts) Cardiovascular Fitness 4 hrs. 3 crs. The physiological and psycho-social aspects of cardiovascular fitness; status of heart disease and preventive programs, exercise stress testing, exercise prescription, and conduct of fitness activities. Preq: PE 358 or permission of instructor. Not open to students with credit in PE 452. 2 hours lecture, 2 hours laboratory. Students registering for this course are advised to register for 2 credits of field work in health or physical education. Not offered on a regular basis.
