ANTH201 (Liberal Arts) Ethnopsychiatry 3 hrs. 3 crs. The occurrence and treatment of mental illness, anxiety, and stress in pre-industrial and peasant societies, with special emphasis on the role of shamans and curanderos as psychiatric healers.
