Dr. Rebecca Rivera-Maestre received her Ph.D. in Social Work from New York University Silver School of Social Work. Her dissertation research was a qualitative study exploring the experiences of relational aggression and violence in the lives of urban adolescent girls in New York City. Her research interests include youth violence and girls and women involved in the juvenile and criminal justice systems.
