Lilly Mathew is a practicing Registered Professional Nurse in the state of New York and brings to York College 17 plus years of professional Nursing experience. Her experience includes working in Medical-Surgical and Critical Care settings. She holds a Master's degree in Nursing Education and is pursuing her PhD in Nursing with research focusing on cultural competency education in health professions using virtual simulations addressing care of vulnerable populations with known health disparities. She has served as a faculty member at various academic institutions in New York and has experience teaching didactic,clinical and simulation using active learning pedagogy.
