Debra Glaser is an Assistant Professor of School Health Education K-12. She holds degrees in Health Education (EdD, ’07, MA, 02) from Columbia University and Fine Arts (BA, ’01) from SUNY Binghamton. In addition, she holds a NYS Heath Teacher (K-12) Certificate. Dr. Glaser’s research focuses on the associations between social relations, quality of life, and chronic illness. She is interested in how the social context of children’s lives may influence health behaviors and the well-being of children who have asthma and allergies. Dr. Glaser has a strong interest in improving the quality of life of children that have asthma and allergies, particularly though the development and implementation of evidence-based educational, behavioral, and social interventions
