Friends and Family Orientation. Informal, informational reception for friends and family members of newly matriculated students in the York College Physician Assistant Program. Designed to help these key people understand the rigors of the program, and to encourage their support throughout the two year period the students will be in the program.: October 2010, 2011, 2012.
First Pass 2012 and First Pass 2013. Annual week-long Board Review course provided at no cost to York College PA Program seniors and graduates. All volunteer lecturers primarily York alumni. Designed to improve confidence and competence for York students sitting for the Physician Assistant National Certification Exam (PANCE) and to raise York's first-time pass rate on this annual exam: August 2012; August 2013.
