Mark Blickly is a widely published author of fiction, non-fiction, drama and poetry and the recipient of a McArthur Foundation Scholarship Award for Drama while pursuing his M.F.A. at Brooklyn College. His work has appeared in numerous anthologies and in the publications Fiction International, Palo Alto Review, Coe Review, Cream City Review, Salt Hill, New York Quarterly, among others. Sacred Misfits is his short fiction collection published by Red Hen Press (2004). He was a staff art reviewer for Artis Spectrum magazine and former journalist for the Bergen Record. Theater is a consuming interest of Blickley’s and he is pleased and proud to have developed and taught the first English department playwriting workshop at York. A native of the Bronx who now lives in Jamaica, he is a passionate Yankees fan who also roots for the Mets, Knicks, Giants and Jets.
