Dr. Amicucci has been practicing as a Registered Nurse since 1981and became a full time Nurse Educator in 2004. She has taught at both the associate degree and baccalaureate degree levels and maintains a part time clinical practice role. Dr. Amicucci has been certified as a Nurse Educator (CNE) since 2007. She has served as a Vice-President for Zeta Omega Chapter-at Large, and is currently serving as President of the Graduate Center Nursing Doctorate Alumni Association. Dr. Amicucci’s clinical nursing experience includes acute care/telemetry, public health/community nursing, school/camp nursing, and nursing administration. She participated in medical mission trips to the Dominican Republic in 2011 and 2012 and in Guatemala in 2014 to broaden her scope of community nursing to include environmental and global health issues. Dr. Amicucci recently earned an advanced certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner and successfully achieved Board certification in the spring of 2016.
