I am an experimental elementary particle physicist. My interests lie in developing techniques and equipment to probe new physics beyond the Standard Model of Elementary Particle Physics. I am a founding collaborator of the Mu2e Experiment at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Batavia, IL. This project is meant to test some of the most strongly-held conservation laws of nature: conservation of electron and muon number in particle interactions. I am also interested in finding new applications for particle detector technologies which led me to join the Plasma Electro-Energetic Physics research group sponsored by the Air Force Office of Scientific Research. Teaching physics at the graduate and undergraduate level is of particular importance to me, both in broadening and deepening my investigations, and mentoring future scientists.
