Here is a look at one of the students who participated in the first Research Day.

York College sophomore Kadisha Wickham has been named the 2010 CUNY Athletic Conference Track and Field Athlete of the Year and York Head Coach Thomas Pope has won both the men’s and women’s CUNYAC Coach of the Year Honors. Also earning accolades was senior Alexandra Nkrumah, who won the CUNYAC Sportsmanship Award, while also earning All-Star status. Eight other York College athletes earned All-Star honors as well.

The York College men's and women's indoor track and field teams made school history, sweeping the 2010 CUNY Athletic Conference championships at the Armory in New York City Sunday evening. It is the first time that both teams have won the CUNYAC championship in the same season.
