York College Appoints Interim Director Of Development
Sealy brings to the position a wealth of experience honed over fifteen years in the field of development at diverse organizations and institutions such as New York Methodist Hospital, The National Conference of Christians and Jews and New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
“The York College Office of Development is of paramount importance as we seek to accelerate our fundraising and alumni outreach efforts,” said President Keizs. “This is an area where we have not yet reached critical mass and Ms. Sealy’s expertise will play a pivotal role in taking us there.”
President Keizs also thanks Marketing Support Officer Ed Rhodes of CUNY’s Central Office, who was on loan to York from the University. “I want to thank Ed Rhodes for his service,” said Keizs. “He balanced his responsibilities at the University while helping to build the Office of Development pending Ms. Sealy’s arrival to take over the position.”
Among Sealy’s first responsibilities is spearheading the York College Foundation Benefit Gala, April 21, featuring Tony Award-winning Broadway performer, Brian Stokes Mitchell. The event will salute the Legendary WWII fighter pilots, the Tuskegee Airmen, and pay tribute to Congressman Gregory Meeks and Christopher A. Ward, executive director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
Sealy resides in Briarwood, Queens, and received her B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh.
