Education leaders from a variety of perspectives explored the question of whether there is a continuing relevance for HBCU’s in a society that increasingly questions the relevance of race as a determinant of one’s ability to succeed. The long and storied history of the HBCU is being put under the spotlight for close and sustained examination.
