Free Stress Reduction Workshop for Students

Dear Students, Welcome to the Fall 2014 Semester! You are invited to participate in a FREE four part stress-reduction workshop at York College as part of an ongoing research study by Dr. Kathariya Mokrue, assistant professor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences.

This is the fifth year that the workshop Stress-less at York is being offered to students. You will learn effective ways to reduce the effects of stress, regulate your emotions, and to feel more in control of your life.

Two series (four consecutive meetings per series) will be offered during the month of October. One series will be offered on Tuesdays, during club hours. The other series will be offered on Thursdays, during club hours. Space is limited to 10-14 students each series.

Tuesday workshop series will take place on

  • 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28

Thursday workshop series will take place on

  • 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30
