Mr. Perez comes to York College with more than twenty-five years of experience in financial planning and reporting, budgeting, auditing, internal controls, and business operations. Prior to joining York College, Mr. Perez spent approximately fifteen years in the field of health care, where he held positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of budgeting and forecasting, internal controls, and in financial planning and analysis.
Reporting to the Vice President of Administration and Finance, his responsibilities will include developing financial policies and procedures; linking strategic planning with budgeting; creating a college-wide, multi-year resource planning process; aligning and coordinating the college's all-funds planning and implementation processes; communicating, executing and monitoring operating budgets; and assisting departments with their financial operations and businesses processes.
Mr. Perez will serve on the President's Cabinet and will support the executive team by providing collaborative leadership and analytical support in planning and organizing resource deployment at a time of growth and improvement at the college.
