What is a Cultural Anthropologist?

During Fall 2015, the Library featured an exhibit of books, photographs, field notes, maps, pottery, and artifacts collected over 40 years of anthropological investigation by Dr. William T. Divale.

Dr. Divale, the Coordinator of Anthropology in the Department of History & Philosophy, donated approximately 1,000 books to the Library upon his impending retirement. We thank him and wish him well. As with all of the Library exhibits, the exhibition of Dr. Divale's materials was curated by Professor Christina Miller, who also happens to be a former student of Dr. Divale. The exhibit was located in the Library by the Chief Librarian's Office.
