A Family's Keepsakes
During Fall 2012 and early Spring 2013, the Library hosted an exhibit featuring Katharine Elizabeth Pettit’s letters, photographs, papers and documents. Mrs. Pettit Beach (1890-1978) of Venango County, Pennsylvania, had the foresight to save things that many of us would and do discard every day.
A Library Exhibit: What Do You Collect?
From baseball cards and playbills to tobacco tins and typewriters, York Library's faculty and staff displayed their prized collections in a Library exhibit during the Summer and Fall of 2014. The items were in the display cases located on the Library’s main floor just outside the Library’s Administrative Office.
A Life of Colors
During Spring and early Summer of 2014, the Library showcased paintings by York librarian Anamika Megwalu. Professor Megwalu began painting as child and uses various media, techniques, and instruments. The exhibition was located on the main floor of the York College Library in the display cases outside the Library’s Administrative Office (3G05).
