- What is a Cultural Anthropologist?
The Library’s current exhibit features books, photographs, field notes, maps, pottery, and artifacts collected over 40 years of anthropological investigation by Dr. William T. Divale, Anthropology Coordinator-History & Philosophy Department. Dr. Divale has donated approximately 1,000 books to the Library upon his impending retirement. We thank him and wish him well.
And as with all of our exhibits, it was curated by Professor Christina Miller, who also happens to be a former student of Dr. Divale.
- A Family's Keepsakes
During Fall 2012 and early Spring 2013, the Library hosted an exhibit featuring Katharine Elizabeth Pettit’s letters, photographs, papers and documents. Mrs. Pettit Beach (1890-1978) of Venango County, Pennsylvania, had the foresight to save things that many of us would and do discard every day.
