Upgraded Student Email System

On the evening of July 3rd we learned that CUNY has initiated a CUNY-wide technology project to upgrade the email environment used by students to Microsoft Office 365. While this will be a welcome upgrade, we regret that we were unable to give students adequate preparation for the switch. Our campus's email upgrade was not scheduled until later this summer.
This new email service will be in a CUNY/Microsoft-hosted environment. During the upgrade process, there will be intermittent disruption of email services.  Below are some specific instructions on the use of the upgraded system. http://www.york.cuny.edu/it/webteam/live/office-365 The following video link provides an excellent overview of the new system.

The Service Desk will be available on Friday, July 5, from 8 AM to 5 PM , as well as each day during the week of July 8 to answer any questions you may have.  The Service Desk can be reached at 718-262-5311 or by creating a YConnect Self Service ticket. To do this go to the "Login To" prompt at the top of this page and select "Service Desk(Student)".
