This workshop will guide students to register for a CUNY portal account, sign up for CUNY Alert and give hands-on practice on how to use Blackboard. The content includes:

  1. How to register for a CUNY portal account.
  2. How to sign up for CUNY Alert. 
  3. How to set up your email address on Blackboard.
  4. How to navigate in Blackboard and how to view/download a course document.
  5. How to send email to your classmates and instructor.
  6. How to view and submit an assignment.
  7. How to use Digital Drop Box.
  8. How to use Discussion Board.
