You know about and currently use dual-core, quad-core or even 8-core PCs.
What would you do if you had access to the following collection of computing resources: a) Multiple 100-core very fast CPUs that can be
inter-networked over the Internet; b) Tera-bytes (a thousand Giga-bytes) to Peta-bytes (a million Giga-bytes) of storage; and c) Suitable programming languages, environments and paradigms for parallel computing? The talk
will cover how to use such powerful technologies for applications in
Computational STEM (science, technology, engineering & mathematics).

This will be a self-contained talk. No prior knowledge is required.
