Teatro IATI presents a play by Aristides Vargas. One of Latin America's most popular comedies, the play is a comical journey through the memories of two enchanting characters that transform themselves from children to seniors. The transformation of these characters takes audiences through an array of comical situations where they experience life's ups and downs.

This production is directed by Beatriz Cordoba with Set, Costome and Lights designs by Rocio Matosas. Performed by actress Vivian Deangelo, recipient of two HOLA Awards in 2001 for Excellence in Acting and also recipient of an ACE Award, and ACE Award nominated actress Belen Cortizo.

]]> No publisher Miguel Bernard Performing Arts Current Student Mens Center Performing and Fine Arts Public 2007-11-27T19:40:00Z Event Robert Sims, baritone http://www.york.cuny.edu/events/robert-sims-baritone Robert Sims, the Gold Medal winner of the Enmark American Traditions Competition, has been hailed by critics for his "rich luxuriant tone", "energetic performances" and "convincing stage presence". He is highly regarded for his "moving" and "authentic" interpretations of African American spirituals and has given recitals of spirituals throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. Mr. Sims has performed these concerts at the Smithsonian Institute, the Los Angeles African-American Museum, Grace Cathedral in San Francisco, the Chicago Historical Society, the Latour de France International Music Festival and the American Church in Paris. He was also featured in Classical Singer Magazine highlighting his recital tours and his varied concert career.

All York College Chamber Music Series events are free and open to the public.

In addition to working as an Adjunct Assistant Professor here at York College teaching computer graphics, print-making, sculpture, painting or drawing, he also has a thriving career as a studio and commercial artist.
