From now through November 21st you can test your financial know how through the “What’s Your Financial IQ” challenge. Topics covered in the challenge include everyday financial matters, investing, retirement planning, loans, and taxes. Each section of the quiz offers five questions. Individuals have sixty seconds to respond to each question until the correct answer and additional information is shown. It’s a fun and engaging financial education program and each quiz provides questions with increasing levels of difficulty.

At the end of each quiz, the employee will get their own personal score. Individual results are anonymous.

To add a little competition, there is a leader board that shows cumulative results statistics by campus, etc.

To participate in the challenge, just click on the following link www.wyfiq.org/q/CUNY and then click on the “Take the Challenge” button.

All employees from various classified and instructional titles are encouraged to participate!

TIAA-CREF will also be hosting webinars through October and November that will help employees prepare for retirement and address retirement saving needs. The webinars review and answer such questions as:

Am I saving enough for retirement?

How can I save more?

Am I investing appropriately to meet my goals?

Should I consider changing my investment mix?

You can register for one of these sessions by clicking on one of the links below. You will also have the opportunity to do so after completing a financial IQ quiz.
