Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University and created by Barry C. Scheck and Peter J. Neufeld in 1992. The project is a national litigation and public policy organization dedicated to exonerating wrongfully convicted people through DNA testing and reforming the criminal justice system to prevent future injustice. As a clinic, law students handle case work while supervised by a team of attorneys and clinic staff.

Our guest speakers will be Elizabeth Webster and Nicole Harris from the Innocence Project.

This visit was organized by Dr. Robin A. Harper, an Assistant Professor of political science and the Pre-Law advisor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences.  This program is open to all interested students and faculty.  The mission and work of The Innocence Project incorporates the work of specialists in many fields including criminal justice, ethics and jurisprudence, sociology, genetics, biotechnology, and chemistry to name a few.  This is a great opportunity to se the subjects taught in the classrooms at work in the "real world".

Faculty are welcome to bring their classes to this event.
