]]> No publisher Victor Lopez Mathematics Mathematics and Computer Studies Tensor Scholars 2011-08-29T19:16:16Z Event Modeling Changes in Body Composition During Weight Change http://www.york.cuny.edu/events/modeling-changes-in-body-composition-during-weight-change A York Tensor Scholars Talk A mathematical relationship between adult fat-free mass (FFM) and fat mass is an important feature of dynamic energy balance models and their resulting mathematical analysis.  This study tested how the cross sectional and longitudinal relationship between FFM and fat mass are formulated when considering impacts of gender, age, height, and race.  These observations have significant implications for the future direction of mathematical modeling of weight change.
