The event will present a recognizable picture of depression and other problems associated with suicide, as they are commonly experienced by college students and other young adults.  

It aims to:  

  1. identify cultural barriers to suicide prevention;
  2. create public awareness of depression as treatable and suicide as preventable; and 
  3. discuss the clinical and global aspects of suicide.
