Proposals for Spring 2009 Writing Intensive-designated courses are due on October 15, 2008.
This workshop, held on October 7 and sponsored by the Writing Across the Curriculum Program, will help faculty members in any discipline explore options for developing an existing course into a potential Writing Intensive course.

Participants will consider ways to incorporating writing into the course objectives of a specific course in their own disciplines. The workshop will include discussion of low- and high-stakes writing, the drafting process, a scaffolding approach to writing assignments, and more.
