With the generous support of the Deutsche Bank Americas Foundation and The Schott Foundation for Public Education, CUNY BMI created the Teachers as Leaders Project which offers CUNY students: (1) full scholarships that are renewable each semester; (2) New York State Teacher Certification Examination (NYSTCE) workshops; (3) career development and public policy workshops; (4) clinical education experiences and (5) mentorship from current and former New York City public school teachers.  TALP scholarships are renewable depending on continued funding as well as the scholarship recipient's level of participation and progress in the program.

For more information about the Teachers as Leaders Project and the application process, please contact Ramik Williams, Program Manager, Teachers as Leaders Project, CUNY BMI, at rwilliams@ccny.cuny.edu.
