Set in Les Années Folles (The Crazy Years) of post-WWI Paris, and enlivened by the rhythms of ragtime jazz, Feydeau's quintessential farce promises to be an exhilarating evening of mistaken identities and comic disaster.
In a new English translation by Assistant Professor Tom Marion and the cast, and with original jazz music by Lecturer Tom Zlabinger, La Puce l’Oreille features the talents of 14 York College students and York College community members: Alex Constantinides, Ludma Delva, Guerschom Dieurine, Kimberly Ferrer, Ariel Flores, Alicia Gray, Uchenna Ijeaku, Shatiek Johnson, Dominique Jones, Charles Lee, Bukola Ogunmola, Chris Patterson, Gloria Williams, and Phil Williams.
Assistant Professor Tom Marion directs. Tom Zlabinger is Music Director. Set Design is by Adjunct Assistant Professor Evan Schmidt, Lighting Design by Daniel Winters.
CLT Jessica Morales, member of Actors Equity Association, is Production/Stage Manager;
CLT G. Lawrence Belcon is the Technical Director.
