Keisha is also a comedy writer and she infuses comedy in her shows. In her early years of singing gospel Keisha has been compared to Mahalia Jackson.
Keisha worked as a backup singer for Mary J. Blige and Robin S. She has also worked with artist such as Chacka Kahn, Luther Vandross and other gospel and popular artists. In summer 2007 Keisha went to Poland to open up for the Rolling Stones.
