The Search Committee encourages everyone interested in the campus community to attend the 10 AM presentation by each candidate. Similarly, academic department chairs, students, faculty, and directors are urged to participate in the meetings reserved for their respective groups.
9-10 AM -- Campus Tour
10-11 AM - Presentation by the candidate on "Current and Future Issues in Public Higher Education" to all interested in the college community followed by questions from the audience (FDR).
11- Noon --Meeting with Academic Department Chairs (Foreign Language Conference Room 3C-07))
Noon -- 1 PM -- Meeting with Students (1G-03)
1- 2 PM (Lunch/Free Time)
2-3 PM -- Meeting with Faculty and Directors (5/7-9 Faculty Dining Room 2D-01)
3-4 PM -- Meeting with President Keizs
4-5 PM -- Meeting with Search Committee (President’s Conference Room 2H-02)
About the Candidate
Dr. James P. Levine
Dr. Levine currently serves as Dean of Research and Professor of Government at John Jay College/CUNY. Dr. Levine holds a M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from Northwestern University. Prior to his appointment as Dean, Dr. Levine served as the Executive Officer of the Graduate Center’s Ph.D. program in Criminal Justice and as Deputy Chair for Graduate Studies in the Political Science Department at Brooklyn College.
