This workshop will guide students to register for a CUNY portal account and give students hands-on experience on how to use Blackboard. The content includes:

  1. How to register for a CUNY portal account.
  2. How to get on to Blackboard when the portal is down:
    • If you have username/password, you can directly log on to Blackboard.
    • If you haven’t registered for a portal account, or
    • If you forget your username/password 
  3. How to set up your email address on Blackboard.
  4. How to navigate in Blackboard and how to view/download a course document.
  5. How to use Digital Drop Box.
  6. How to use Discussion Board.
