The season opens on October 23 with “Fabulation: or the re-Education of Undine". This madcap comedic fable set in present-day New York by the 2009 Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Lynn Nottage, follows the super-successful Undine as her life unexpectedly disintegrates into a world of drugs, prison, and poverty, forcing her to confront the most terrifying person she knows: Herself! Additional performances October 24, 25 and 27.
“Scapin” by Moliere and adapted by Bill Irwin. Moliere’s comedic fable brims with colorful characters and merry mayhem, in a sparkling adaption by noted clown Bill Irwin. Scapin is the clever servant who outsmarts (almost) everyone, especially the foolish rich. Performances are December 4, 5, 6, 8, 11 and 12.
Please come prepared with a 2 minute memorized monologue.
Earn 3 credits by registering for TA 215 – TA 219. You can be a part of this production as an actor or as a crew member. All students should have 3pm-6pm, most Monday’s through Friday’s free for rehearsals which will begin in September.
