The panelists will assess one of the most extraordinary election campaigns in American history and discuss the significance of the outcome against the backdrop of a deepening domestic and global economic crisis. Among the topics to be addressed are the role that race, gender and class played in the campaign and the direction of public policy in the new administration given conflicting philosophies/approaches on critical issues between conservatives and liberals, Democrats and Republicans.
