International Trade Initiative
This training program will expand the management skills of business owners and/or their employees and teach them the necessary tools to expand globally.
This program will also provide opportunities to work with industry experts and York College Small Business Development Center advisors who are also Certified Global Business Professionals (CGBP) that will engage them in practical exercises and strategies to grow and expand their business. SBDC advisors will work with each company individually to develop their organizational capacity and export readiness.Through on-going one-to-one technical assistance and mentoring, participants will be able to develop an export plan, complete a loan application, meet with international buyers and participate in an international trade show. There will be continuous networking to share lessons learned during the training program.
