The workshop will be held at the FDA Northeast Regional Laboratory, 158-15 Liberty Avenue, Jamaica, NY 11433. Jamaica is in Queens, one of the five boroughs of New York City. New York’s two major airports are also in Queens.

Presentations will be held in the Atrium Conference Room of the FDA building.

We have scheduled breakfast each day from 8 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. so the presentations can begin promptly at 9 a.m.

Directions

JFK Int’l Airport to FDA

Exit the Airport.  Take VAN WYCK EXWY N toward LIBERTY AVE. exit.  Turn RIGHT onto LIBERTY AVE.  Take LIBERTY AVE. to 160TH ST.  Make a U-TURN at 160TH ST onto LIBERTY AVE. The Northeast Regional Laboratory is a half block on the RIGHT.

La Guardia Airport to FDA

Exit the Airport.  Take GRAND CENTRAL PKWY E toward LONG ISLAND.  Take the J ROBINSON PKWY to the VAN WYCK EXPWAY exit – toward KENNEDY AIRPORT.  Take VAN WYCK EXWY S toward LIBERTY AVE. exit.  Turn LEFT onto LIBERTY AVE.  Take LIBERTY AVE. to 160TH ST.  Make a U-TURN at 160TH ST onto LIBERTY AVE.  The Northeast Regional Laboratory is a half block on the RIGHT.

Subway from Manhattan to FDA

  1. Take the E train to JAMAICA CENTER (last stop).  Ride the FRONT of the TRAIN.  Exit through the first exit on your RIGHT across from the TOKEN BOOTH.  Proceed STRAIGHT AHEAD along Archer Avenue towards 159th ST.
  2. At 159th St. make a right on to the York College campus.
  3. Proceed straight to Liberty Avenue and make a right on Liberty. Walk along Liberty Avenue to the corner of Liberty Avenue and 158th Street.  The FDA building is on your right.

Long Island Railroad from Manhattan to FDA

From Penn Station take any train to JAMAICA. Take SUTPHIN BLVD. to ARCHER AVE.  Walk down Archer to 158th St and turn RIGHT.  (Follow instruction 3 for subway).
