The York College Performing Arts Center is located at 94-45 Guy R. Brewer Blvd, Jamaica, Queens 11451, between Liberty Avenue and Archer Avenue.

Load-in

The loading zone is located at the rear of the PAC building. It is a roll-in to the stage with one 90-degree turn.

Dressing Room / Green Rooms

The PAC has 4 Dressing rooms, located directly adjacent to the stage. 2 - 6 person rooms, 2 – 12 person rooms. The smaller dressing rooms are equipped with 4 mirrors with vanity lighting, 1 full length mirror, 1 shower, 1 toilet, and 1 sink. The larger dressing rooms are equipped with 10 mirrors with vanity lighting, 2 full length mirrors, 2 showers, 2 toilets and 2 sinks. All rooms have ample AC 115 volts power in each room.

The Green room can accommodate approximately 25 persons, and is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, sink, tables and chairs. A couch may be provided, upon request.

Audio

The audio bay is located in the middle of the house, between the orchestra and the mezzanine. There are 2 clear com outlets at this station.

Lighting

Stage Lighting:  The Main Stage is equipped with an ETC Expression 3 lighting console, with 800 channels and 24 submasters/8 pages. This is located in a booth, behind the mezzanine section.

There are 340 2.4K dimmers, and 12 6K dimmers, wired dimmer per circuit. There is a repertory lighting plot, with approximately 300 instruments, including a cyclorama and scrim.

There are also 2 8 -color Voyager follow spots, 400w HTI.

A Lighting plot, Channel / Dimmer schedule, and/or customized lighting are available upon request. All lighting must be restored to house plot at renter’s expense.

House Lighting: The house lights and work lights are on a separate dimming system.  The house lights are controlled from both stage left and the lighting booth. For safety reasons the house lights must remain at dim while audience is in the theatre.
