CETL Programs

The CETL provides professional development for faculty in the form of guest speakers, workshops, Thursdays at the Center (brown bag reading discussion groups), Teaching Circles (special interest groups), and the York CETL listserv and website.

The CETL also provides consultation and other individualized forms of support to improve classroom teaching to interested faculty. For example, the Center can assist faculty in obtaining faculty videotaping and other forms of classroom technology development, forming faculty partnerships for informal teaching feedback, developing portfolio work samples about teaching, and connecting with instructors facing similar challenges (e.g., large classes, general education courses).
