DisCover - the York College Journal of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning - exists to create and utilize scholarship on teaching and learning (SoTL). The Journal is designed to bring assumptions about teaching and learning into the light and to promote an evidence-based, collegial, public approach to teaching and learning. DisCover publishes work from York faculty members from any discipline or program and is open to research on any pedagogical methods or mediums. Findings and reflections expressed in DisCover promote opportunities to examine our strengths and challenges as higher education facilitators of learning, explore our role as learning professionals, and exchange ideas on how to strengthen student learning.
