York College students can choose from more than 44 academic majors in the liberal arts and sciences, and in a variety of professional programs such as accounting, business, computer studies, nursing, education, health, and social work as well as professional majors including Physician Assistant, Aviation Management, Journalism, Communications Technology and the combined B.S. /M.S. in Occupational Therapy. Centrally located in Queens, York College students represent a cross section of New York City’s diverse population and hail from more than 117 different countries of birth and speak 79 different native languages.
