    <description>The orientation will be a good opportunity for the new students to connect to York College by meeting other students as well as faculty and staff and hearing about college services.  Activities at the orientation will include faculty panel discussions from each of the three schools; workshops to introduce students to available scholarships, tutoring services and other academic information; an information fair with academic departments and student services; and a college tour.</description>

<p>Freshmen accepted  to York College in the <strong>Class of 2010</strong> had a <strong>mean college academic average of 82</strong> and a <strong>mean SAT</strong> combined score (critical reading and mathematics) of <strong>905</strong>. (Note: SAT or ACT scores are required for admission).</p>
<p>GED candidates will qualify for admission with scores of 3000 or higher.</p>
