Orientation and First Year Experience (FYE) Program

The Division of Student Development is dedicated to assisting students in their first year of college. Orientation is one of the valuable first steps a student takes when entering York College.  Orientation prepares students for a new environment. It gives students both "campus competence" and "campus confidence," as they learn where classes are located, what to expect from professors, how to tap into college resources and support services, and much more. Orientation is the "experience that starts students on their journey to graduation/success."

The FYE program is a comprehensive program of academic and co-curricular activities specially designed to assist you in making a successful transition to college life at York. It is our hope that you will feel like a member of the York family from the first day you step on campus.
