Academic Achievement Center

York College Academic Achievement Center aims to provide tutoring that assists, deepens, and enriches students’ learning and understanding of course content materials.

The staff and tutors facilitate each student achieving higher grades and ultimately making satisfactory progress to on-time graduation.  Through peer tutoring, supplemental instruction, study skills, patience, and diligence, we increase students’ satisfaction and appreciation of their educational experience at York College.

Our mission, therefore, is to enhance students’ academic performance, deepen their satisfaction with their academic experience, and increase the retention and graduation rates at York College.
