Right to Know
The publication of our Annual Security Report is a means of sharing with you our security policies and crime statistics for the most recent three-year period. In compliance with the 1990 Clery Act, this information must be disseminated annually to all students and employees.
York College must disclose crime statistics for the campus, unobstructed public areas immediately adjacent to or running through the campus. The statistics are gathered from Public Safety Department, local law enforcement, and other school officials who have "significant responsibility for student and campus activities". Professional mental health and religious counselors are exempt from reporting obligations, but may refer patients to a confidential reporting system.
